Statue of Liberty is often associated with New York but it is actually on the New Jersey side of the Hudson river.

Modern self-service gas stations actually were pioneered in Sweden. From there the concept spread through Europe and other parts of the world.
Twenty-nine countries use these three colors in their national flag: Red, White and Blue. This includes the US, UK, North Korea, Cuba, Czech Republic, Nepal, New Zealand, Australia, France and Russia.
