From London to South Korea

1. London may be one of the largest metropolises in the world but when it comes to actual people, only 9,000 reside in the City of London. The city is a small area surrounded by the Greater London region—which has over 8 million residents.

   

2. There are 5 countries in the world that do not have a single airport - Vatican City, San Marino, Monaco, Liechtenstein and Andorra.

   

3. Apple had 3 founders – Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne. Twelve days after Apple was created, Wayne quit the company and sold his shares in exchange for $800. These shares would be worth billions today. He also received 1,500 dollars a year later to settle any potential allegations for the newly established Apple company.

   

4. The Samsung Group is a South Korean multinational conglomerate with annual revenues of approximately $200 billon, headquartered in Samsung Town, Seoul. The word “Samsung” means “3 stars” in Korean, and the company was originally founded in 1938 as a shop selling vegetables and dried fish.
